Global Luxury Island Destination

Central Phuket is moving forward with a major expansion of its 110-rai mega mixed-use development, bringing the total project value to over THB 26 billion and the gross building area to approximately 500,000 sq.m. With a planned 40% expansion by 2028, the project aims to position Phuket beyond tourism — as a global destination for living, investment, luxury shopping, dining, wellness, and entertainment.

The expansion is built around three major pillars: Central Phuket Floresta will double its luxury zone by Q4/2026; Festival will be upgraded into an Everyday Urban Lifestyle Gateway with around 250 fashion and bridge-line brands by Q1/2028; and a new World-Class Attractions Zone will be added on approximately 14 rai by Q3/2028, alongside a major culinary destination positioned as one of the largest outside Bangkok.

What makes Central Phuket significant is that it is no longer competing merely as a local shopping mall. It is positioning itself as part of the new urban infrastructure of Phuket — an island city shaped not only by short-stay tourists, but also by long-stay residents, global wealth, investors, expats, international families, and high-spending visitors seeking big-city quality of life on a world-class island. In simple terms, Central Phuket is helping shift Phuket from a place people visit into a place people aspire to live.

Central Phuket is about turning “tourist traffic” into a “global lifestyle economy” shifting from visitors who come, spend, and leave, toward an urban ecosystem that supports living, dining, shopping, leisure, investment, and long-term lifestyle.
